The church is God’s instrument for releasing His Kingdom on earth. And as the believer and the body of Christ are equipped, trained, empowered and released, they become salt and light to the nations impacting people and society with the values and culture of the Kingdom of heaven.

The public ministry of Jesus and John the Baptist began with both of them, drawing people’s attention to repentance (see Matt. 4:17, Matt. 3:1, 2). The Amplified Bible defines repentance, as “think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins, and changing your conduct.” Jesus Christ and John the Baptist drew people’s attention to an inner change that leads to an outward transformation. It was a radical call for people to conform to Kingdom mentality and Kingdom lifestyle.

These should be our calling as well; to realign our theology and lifestyle to that of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven. Right living is a product of right theology. The Lord is calling the body of Christ to realign its theology to Kingdom theology. When this realignment takes place, experiencing heaven on earth becomes a natural phenomenon.
